The author, a 4th generation farrier, has practised in Newmarket, England for over 25 years. During that time he has worked equally on horses at stud and in training and trained over 15 apprentices. He receives referrals from both farriers and veterinary surgeons and is a consultant to many of the top trainers and stud farms. His articles have been published in farriery and veterinary journals around the world. He has held clinics and lectured in North America, Asia, Australia and Europe.
